Sugarcoated has transformed from a mobile dessert caravan to a bricks and mortar store. At Sugarcoated you will be sure to be greeted by Jess, the owner. You will find desserts, sweets and savories for any occasion.
Sugarcoated uses locally sourced ingredients to ensure we support South Australian’s, even our coffee beans are roasted here in Robe! We pride ourselves on fresh desserts and pastries baked daily, so let us help you with your next birthday, celebration or special event.
Who is Jess?
Jess is the brains behind Sugarcoated, Born and raised in Adelaide. Jess began her pastry career on the Gold Coast as an apprentice training at Sweet located within Brickworks Market in Southport. After completing her apprenticeship, she found her niche with celebration cakes.

With having completed her studies, Jess had the urge to return home to Adelaide and explore opportunities here. After working at a local patisserie, it was time for her to start making her dream come true. Her first venture was a 1950’s inspired dessert and coffee caravan, which is still operational now. She attended many markets, food events and corporate events now with her name growing and with the growth of the caravan and a demand for a store it was time to open the first bricks and mortar shop in Felixstow.
